I'm trying to write some host parameters down into a file on newly created virtual machines using the UserData template (cloud-init). All parameters set at the used host group ("global parameters" or "host group parameters") are available in the hash. The machine specific "host parameters" are not. I'm talking about the @host.params hash.

I found an issue (20931 [http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/20931]) that may be related, but the fix is planned for 1.18 and we are using 1.15.6 right now. Is there a chance that this might be fixed in a bugfix release?
