Bug #17119
open"New subnet wizard" does not validate network address against it's netmask value in Satellite 6.1
Description
Cloned from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1269788
what is the Nature of the Request?
Whenever we are creating a new subnet, it doesn't validate network address against the specified netmask value in the wizard.
That is we can add any invalid network address with the any netmask.
It will not issue any warning for the same while adding the subnet with such invalid values.
Moreover we can add the gateway address from the network other than the one specified in the wizard.
e.g. I could create a new subnet with the "Subnets" wizard under Infrastructure Tab with the values as mentioned below:
Network Address : 192.168.2.158 Netmask : 255.255.255.224 Gateway : 200.0.0.100
What is the description of the Request?
"Network Address with respect to the Netmask specified and also should allow to specify the gateway address form the same network".
This is reproducible with any version of Foreman.

- Subject changed from "New subnet wizard" does not validate network address against it's netmask value in Satellite 6.1 to "New subnet wizard" does not validate network address against it's netmask value in Satellite 6.1
- Target version set to 115
I don't see anything invalid in network address in that example, AFAIK it does not have to be the first IP of the range. But we should definitely add validations for gateway and other fields to respect the network address and mask values.
