Description

It's pretty insecure to connect over HTTP to the API when SSL is available... especially when sending credentials.

As I understand it it's just as simple as adding a port to the XMLRPC api call.

I've created a ticket internally to work on this during this month's sprint--just so it doesn't get lost on me.

Unfortunately, no.

We've moved away from managing our VM installations with TFM in favor of image-based installs using other tools on top of XenServer, such as Xen Orchestra and internal tooling for creating machines.

It should be a fairly simple change to make, but it's been a long time since I looked at the code, and I don't really have the bandwidth to take it on right now. :(
