Default Host Group - Environment selection keeps defaulting to "production" rather then that which is specified in the hostgroup

I managed to configure this plugin so that the correct hostgroup gets assigned to an agent when it registers with foreman for the first time. However the environment always defaults to "productions", even though the hostgroup has a different environment specified in it.
This could be because the code effective calls a change-group immediately after the host is created. This means that the agent get's an environment assigned before this plugin has had chance to assign a hostgroup to the agent.
