Authentication does not work for clients if trusted host is not commented in settings.yml

Description
During report/facts upload proxy responds with 403 because it search for CN in client certificate that's not used in case of chef. In foreman proxy log following log can be seen
Still getting E, [2015-07-03T15:12:39.565828 #7579] ERROR -- : could not read client cert from environment - bit
Once trusted_hosts is commented, chef based authentication starts to work.

Hello.
I'm also seeing this error.
I don't see any useful output in httpd logs.
I have tried adding this client to trusted hosts but this doesn't appear to help.

Just by way of an update, I have installed the DHCP plugin which has given me what I need.
Apparently this isn't supposed to be web browse-able any more (source: Dominic in IRC)
