Description

In the default Kickstart there's a reference to the puppet.conf snippet stored in foreman.

In the snippet puppet.conf we've "server = <%= @host.puppetmaster %>" which, I assume is set by the settings -> proxy -> proxy value ?

At the end, on the new installed client I find "server = puppet" instead of the "real" server value I set in hostgroups (puppet-master).

Thanks

Is duplicate of Foreman - Bug #1745: If FQDN for puppetmaster starts with "puppet" Foreman strips the domain.ClosedJeremy Kitchen07/11/2012Actions

I have the same issue with foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch. When using a "Puppet Master Proxy" for a host the "Puppet Master FQDN" is always stripped of the main domain. i.e. "puppet.mydomain.com" is my puppet master but no matter what I put in "Puppet Master FQDN" it ends up being just "puppet" without the "mydomain.com".
